Based: Trade Everything. Spend Everywhere. Based is a DeFi SuperApp headquartered in Singapore. In under eight months, the platform processed over $40 billion in trading volume and generated $15 million in revenue. The team is backed by Pantera, Coinbase Ventures, Hashed, Spartan and Ethena. Trade Everything Based started as a non-custodial interface on Hyperliquid, giving users access to perpetuals, prediction markets on Polymarket, and spot trading — all from a single wallet. We then built HyENA, our own HIP-3 perp DEX developed in partnership with Ethena, which became one of the top DEXes in that category. The model is deliberately asset-light: Based owns no liquidity and holds no user funds. We are infrastructure, not an exchange — closer to how Robinhood sits on top of markets than how Binance operates one. Spend Everywhere Trading is only half the picture. Based operates a Visa debit card that lets users spend their on-chain holdings anywhere Visa is accepted, bridging DeFi and real-world commerce. Alongside this, Based is building agentic payments: the infrastructure for AI agents to transact autonomously on users' behalf, pay for services, and interact with merchants without human intervention. Wallets are no longer just for humans. Based is ready for the billions of agent wallets that are coming. AI Based is positioning at the intersection of AI and crypto before most players have realised the two categories are converging. The vision is an AI personal financial agent that can trade, predict, and spend — replacing complex interfaces with natural conversation. Users tell it what they want; it executes. We are also building agentic commerce infrastructure: enabling AI agents to run companies, hold treasuries, raise capital, and pay for compute — all on-chain and all powered by $BASED. The $BASED token unifies these three pillars. Stake BASED to earn AI credits that fund computation. It uses Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to enable shielding, transfering, swapping and staking any token, without bridging to a different chain. Key use cases includes confidential stablecoin payments and confidential DeFi.
